Church Bells (2008)

Up in Heptonstall the new church stands amongst the ruins of the old one. On the day I sat drawing the details of the stonework a group of children were playing '40-40' out in the church yard and the ruins. It was an early spring day and everything was suddenly flowering.

Available as a mounted and signed limited edition print – unframed. Hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread.
