Heather at Top Withens (2020)

Painted as part of The Nightingale Project: a series of trees and nature inspired by lock down in The Calder Valley from March 2020 to March 2021 (and the brief escapes from it over the summer).

In September we ran along the Pennine Way to Top Withens. The moors were purple with heather, made even more purple by a dark and brooding sky.

Available as a mounted and signed limited edition print – unframed. Hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread.
